Crook Point Oregon Elopement Wedding

This beautiful day at Crook Point. was a bit of a stormy one as Summer weddings go. It did however have all the moody beauty that we think of on true Pacific Northwest Twilight type days. There is one thing I love about rain and that is when people gather to embrace it together in joy~

This day was filled with joy with those who traveled from all over the United States to say on Crook Point’s beautiful 3,000 private acres on the Oregon coast. It sits right in the Samuel Boardman Corridor. For those of you who have not witnessed the sea stacks and rugged cliff lines of the Southern Oregon Coast, it is truly an experience.

Here is a peek at our time together and I hope my photos take you away on a little journey to our piece of the Earth here…

Redwood Forest and Oregon Coast Elopement

This day was filled with sunshine and love. Steve and Sahny spoke their vows to one another in one of my favorite private groves in the NorCal Redwoods. From there we grove hopped a bit for incredible Summer light as the last of it filtered through the majestic canopy.

The end of the evening was spent just above the California border on the rocky Oregon coastline. A little bit of a hike over a waterfall, then the shoes came off on the beach. Some champagne, a walk in the sand and then a dance to their song.

Special thanks to my friend Branches and Vine Floral for the incredible bouquet and crown. I am always happy to transport florals in for your elopements from my local vendors I work with. I am so excited to announce that their image was chose for online publication for our win for top photographer in Oregon outside PDX for Oregon Bride Magazine this past year!

I encourage as always please leave no trace in our forests or on our beaches. If anything comes in with you please clean it up and pack it out.
